Real – The Vine Church values authenticity in people and practice. Jesus said, “I am the True Vine” (John 15:1). As Christ is true, Christ’s followers are known for their authentic life and witness. The Apostle Paul writes, “Beloved, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is pleasing, whatever is commendable, if there is any excellence and if there is anything worthy of praise, think about these things. Keep on doing the things that you have learned and received and heard and seen in me, and the God of peace will be with you” (Philippians 4:8-9 NRS).

Redemptive – The Vine Church values the redemption of fallow ground for the Kingdom of God. Therefore we focus our ministry on the unchurched, unreached, unloved, underclass, unnoticed, and underutilized. We seek to utilize underused people, programs, places and resources for Christ’s global mission. Our commitment is to restart, recycle, and reuse gifts, people, buildings, visions, institutions, and resources that have become underutilized for the Kingdom of God.

Reaching – The Vine Church values the extending of Christ’s work into unreached mission fields. Our goal is to plant ten connected Vine Churches or Satellite Churches in our first twenty years of ministry and to connect in mission with Christ’s worldwide movement transforming people, societies and nations.

Related – The Vine Church values ministry that is connected to Christ and Christ’s body. We seek to live under covenantal authority within the Body of Christ.

Rooted – The Vine Church values ministry that is rooted in Scripture, the historic Christian Tradition as well as personal and community faith experiences, and reason. 

Real Time – The Vine Church values ministry that speaks the timeless message of Christ to this post-modern world. We are committed to communicating Christ to the real time in which we live.
