David Raich

David was a “cradle-Methodist” and active in all aspects of children’s and youth ministry while growing up in Annandale, VA. As an adult he has been actively involved in mission, children’s and youth ministries for decades including staff ministries in Northern Virginia. He loves and lives the word “Grace”, finding God-moments. During the pandemic David created the “Dry-Erase Devotionals to amuse his kids and hopes to share that with us too.

The Vine may call this a Youth Ministry, but David’s approach will always incorporate a family approach as much as possible. David is a graduate of Old Dominion University and works at Westfield HS in Special Education services for 20 years and had been a professional youth soccer coach for 20 years. He is an out of the box thinker and programmer and is fluent in “Bad-Dad-Jokes.”

David lives in Fairfax with his two children: Levi (7th grade), Leighton (4th grade) and his dad, Jeff. David has a long-time girlfriend, Michaela. She has a daughter Leila (1st grade). Their families are active together. David rides his bike every day, and you may see him pedaling to Dunn Loring and even to your front door for a visit! Pastor Katie called this his bicycle ministry! Be on the lookout!
