Jennifer Altobello

Director of Disicpleship

Jennifer is passionate about discipleship and helping others find a relationship with Christ. She is an M.A. student at Wesley Theological Seminary and pursuing her ordination as a deacon with the United Methodist Church. Her focus of study is pastoral care and counseling in mental health and addiction recovery. She loves helping those who have been spiritually harmed know how much Christ accepts them. As a trauma survivor, Jennifer has learned through her recovery
journey the power of community, empathy, and testimony.

Jennifer came to Virginia from the coast of Maine many years ago and is still not used to the noise! Do not get her started on the traffic. She is a single mother who owns a pug, or as she likes to call him, a walking potato. Lover of antique lamps and freight trains, she doesn’t like lollipops with gooey centers, thinks watermelon should be banned, still can’t pronounce pistachio, and most of all, dearly loves to laugh!
