AKA – Naomi/Mara – Round Table Worship
What does it mean to do what is right in our own eyes? In the story of Ruth, Naomi (pleasant) renames herself Mara (bitter) yet she doesn’t endure alone. Ruth does the opposite of what is right in her own eyes as she embodies compassionate love (hased) when she faithfully remains with her mother in-law. And in the process bitterness turns into hope.
