You Asked For It - Jesus Chooses Mercy

Jesus does not fulfill the law by using it to crush people. Jesus heals on the Sabbath, protects a woman from stoning, and summarizes the law through love of God and neighbor. The character of God is revealed when compassion outranks a cold, literalistic use of religion against hurting human beings.
